I was in trouble from the word go with an 8-2 home defeat in my debut match, 4 more defeats
followed before my first win.
Signed up practically any player my scout found who I could get for free and convince to play for me but it made no difference. One more win followed before relegation was confirmed and I was without a job.
Countless unsuccesful applications followed and the State Championships had started and finished before I was offered a new job.
Started off with a better squad this time round and it showed. Won my opening game only for a 4-0 defeat to follow and send me back to reality.
Won a few more games over the season but it was a pretty tight league, eventually securing
safety before sliding down to 6th place on the final day. Now to hopefully build on that next season.
Had a reasonably successful first outing in the State Championships, finishing fourth overall but nearly 20 points behind third place.
Started off the league campaign with a win and my best performance out here but it was short lived. Countless defeats by 4 or more goals with only a draw to my name meant I was always in trouble.
Relegation finally confirmed with 3 games to go and even then with our fate known we still couldn't stop 3 more defeats. Back to the job centre I go to find the next foolish chairman.
