Now im all for the only being able to sign scouted players etc.. I have one question though,

Is it considered unethical or bad practise to sign scouted players for a 0 fee simply for the purpose of selling them on as soon as possible to raise cash?

Would a manager EVER do this in real life? Absolutely not. You'd be run out of the game of football and possibly sanctioned by the FA for improper conduct.

It's also bad practice to use practise when you mean practice.

Yeah thanks a whole lot for the spelling tip cheers there, you've really turned my life around

And I can think of managers who sign players with every intention of selling them as soon as possible.

Barry Fry
Harry Redknapp

But thanks for the pointer

Very unethical. A definite no-no. That said there are players you will buy, play for a few games realize they are completely sh;t and have to offload them, if players are this bad you are normally lucky if you can offload them on a free. I have at least 2 players in my reserves that I can’t even give away for free now.

Actually, they just have a high turnover, rather than buying to sell.

no no

barry fry used to buy simply for selling purposes.

peter shearer being a fine example who spent a whole 7 days at the club with 45 minutes of play time only to be sold on for profit.
