The header is quite succinct :

NO player naming.

We don't need to qualify it any more as it's a blanket ban

* no reference can made to the field of player description if it refers to another player within the game (even though this player is in no way an influence on your game or that you have told people to sign him, his cousin or his wife coz they're awesome prospects)
I think The following will not be tolerated:

Player Naming or Tipping - Including all FM, CM from 01/02 onwards, and Real Life Players.
more than covers your point.

oh, and i am completely for no player naming as well - i completely respect that aspect because of this floodgate scenario.

Floodgate scenario however refers to me other others saying simply, sign XXX because he's a great prospect and you can make loads of money from his sale.... thats wrong, saying that an unamed player is described as the next 'PR' is definately not wrong and would not lead to a 'floodgate scenario'

It could. It only takes one turd to not read the header (do people really do that?) see a player name in a thread and think it's allowed.

BTW Pete, I think the header was better when it said "NO player naming - no exceptions".

point is mmh, thicko noob (we get plenty in here), sees a name, doesn't appreciate the context, and starts throwing names in all over the place.

You really won't win
