Question to the mod - iajafer

Is this not allowed? I am not taking about a player who have bought, signed, influenced or influenced me in any manner what so ever, i am referring to a players potential and their own individual player description. If this is not allowed then please tell me so now (and out of curiosity - why is it not allowed?!)

Reason explained here.

Absolutely NO player naming - floodgate scenario.

If one player name is allowed, then people will start saying "xxxx" is a good player. Obviously, Aussie beer is dreadful.

It's a bit of an anomaly this - the Northern Irish and Welsh premier divisions are probably at a similar level - and Wales has lower leagues, they just aren't included in the game. In fact, you've probably taken on a bigger challenge than me, as I picked probably the best team in Wales, while you picked a struggling one.

I suppose by its very nature, mine wasn't a conventional LLM game as the aim is normally to climb the divisions, which clearly wasn't possible in my case. Maybe I should lobby SI for more Welsh leagues.

However, rules are rules, and LLM-rules state that you have to start in the lowest possible division. If you decided to start again, and went from NI div.2 to Europe, that would by far outstrip anything I achieved.

I bet you are enjoying your game now, though?

This is because of the so-called "floodgate scenario". Someone mentions a name, new guy comes in and decides having seen the name to post his entire squad and every player him and his mates have found for the past five years. It happens.

Not all related to my so called 'player naming'

We have a blanket "no naming" policy: even using a player name as a comparison isn't allowed because some newbie comes along, sees the named player and says: "hey, I've signed xxxxx who is much better than that Spurs goalie"

Oh, NI does have 3 levels as I started off with Brantwood there in my current save...

You won't win, you won't change any minds, your player naming wasn't "so called", it was of the current Tottenham and England keeper.

Give up gracefully

in fact, could you then please update your LLM player naming rules then to include.

* no reference can made to the field of player description if it refers to another player within the game (even though this player is in no way an influence on your game or that you have told people to sign him, his cousin or his wife coz they're awesome prospects)

Anyone would think we're trying to fright mmhsports off.

Apart from not starting in the lowest division, player naming and using dubious player signing techniques, you're not doing so bad
