maybe I used the wrong word, and I apologize if I did. But I've worked with kids a couple of times who had trouble understanding things unless you explained to them in a manner you normally use with infants. I'd never insult anyone just because of their inability to comprehend things like others but I believe that it's okay and important to talk about things like that in a normal and neutral way. It's like discussing with a person about different colours just to find out afterwards that the other person is blind. It's something you should know before discussing and arguing.

Very scary thought, can somehow picture it though:
Poor kid: "But, my drawing is fine, I like trees around a football field..."
Angry Lama: "You are supposed to only draw a bloody football field you r€tard!! Trees are against the rules!!"
Poor kid thinks the angry lama is weird, then 5 minutes later...
Angry Lama: "Oh I'm sorry poor kid, you're not a r€tard, you're deaf, I didn't realise..."

Anyway, moving on...

Very cool football. Way more relaxed schedule-wise than English leagues. As mentioned above, very challenging money wise!!
I think the players spend their holidays drinking in pubs though, they are a wreck when they return for pre-season

kroc, do you think anyone cares? You've decided to attack a regular poster here, because you happen to think, what? That you know more about LLM ethics than Cosmo? That other forum-regulars will admire your chutzpah?

You've been told that frequenting the Tactics forum will mean you're not welcome here. Nor will acting superior, so please do us all a favour - respect the forum rules and other posters or don't post here.

Once done, you come back here and apologise. Sounds like a plan to you mate? Good.

I'm sorry, what? Try reading my first post in this thread then Cosmo's and come back to me with your findings please.

That's a new rule? Just made that up? Sorry someone not knowing about football rules tries to understand a game. As said in another post, I don't give a damn about football but I happen to be a big fan of this game.
I'm not using any downloaded tactic or whatever, that just ruins the fun. I do check a lot of the analysis done there though as I really don't know what the hell full back or target man or play maker are supposed to be.

You mean other "old time posters" right? Well sorry, I'm not going to lick butts just to dodge the flames and sneak my way through.

Oh you can count on me sticking around, this place is just too good of a show and I feel like I fit right in
The plan though, is not to apologise but to just follow the rules while being nice about it. I'm sure some of the old football neo-fascists around here will get a stroke just thinking about it, but that's the plan.

I did. Cosmo was trying to tell you (whether politely or not) that your post was dangerously close to tipping. Instead of saying something like 'Really? Ok, sorry - I'll watch that in future', you decide to go on the offensive. This isn't GQ - that kind of behaviour is regarded as disrespectful, not just of the person you responded to, but to the forum rules too.

Nope. It was what I, and any other posters in T&T (or GPG) are told if they wish to post here. By the mods. Keep arguing.

Never asked you to lick anyone's butt. Just be respectful. So are you saying that you are not willing to do that?

The follow the rules and be nice then. You're not doing too good a job of it so far. You seem to believe you have the power to overrule the mods. I'd like to see that fight.

Look...

1) My post did not contain more tipping than any other in this thread. Just explained what I was trying to do as I was in the same position as the OP. So stop using the "mod ban" thing because you think I rattle your cage a bit.

2) I am very respectful and nice guy. But if someone comes around, for no reason whatsoever and starts poking me and calling me names, I'm not going to keep it quiet and nod.

3) I don't like "push me, push you" games, so just drop the fixation and move on. As said before, I like it here, I play by the rules and love lower leagues challenges.
