Just got a media message that Michael Tydeman (my managerial pseudonym) hasn't waited long to bring new blood into Harrogate Town with 21 new signings! This is by the end of October 2005. :-)
I blame my scout for recommending so many players. Maybe I should have paid more attention to eaactly what he said (decent/good/excellent signign)? but to be honest, this is my first proper go at LLM and I didn't expect him to find many players so I probably got a bit a head of myself. Thankfully they al came for free and asked for <£100 a week, so by flogging off some of my highly paid "stars" (including one 40 year old centre half whose real life league debut for Leeds I saw around 1978 - an emotional wrench, but he was on £400 a week!!!!) I've kept close to my wage budget and actually raised a small transfer kitty.
21 - that's a lot to keep track of though - so I'm not sure whose good and who isn't and am desperately trying to set up some friendlies for my reserves so I can find out
It’s amazing what a couple of grand in the transfer kitty can buy you. :eek: I have had that problem before signing too many in one go. You want to give then a chance to prove themselves but it can be very difficult separating the crap from the completely crap!

I'm thnking it might be better sed for signing some of the coaches/ Ass men that applied to my add, since they were all at clubs already - some of them have good looking CVs. failing that I'll just wait until I've sorted through this new crop and see who's on my rather long short list and out of contract come the summer.

I'm afraid most of mine are under the impression that they are Key Players as well. Don't know where they got that idea from Still, the first ones to throw their toys out of the pram can be the first to feel the door slapping their arse on the way out!
Yep even my water boys think they are key players.
I have given up on the Job Center, it just doesn’t work the way it should, so it’s the staff search screen for me, hopefully they get the job centre working in FM07 as it is in theory the only way Llamas should get staff.
