Firstly apologizes if anyones offended by the Shrewsbury post aye your right i considered Shrewsbury to be lower league without really reading the rules ill consent to that one rules are there and shouldnt be broken but honestly it never crossed my mind that Shrewsbury wouldnt be considered LLM ...(infact pretty shocked they were'nt)
But Bragging ....come on ....the whole post is about me getting sacked which as far im aware is a complete failure and not something to be proud of i was mearly laying down some fact so you knew where i was coming from. im not a braggart its not in my nature (if i did brag id hope i could find better things to brag about !) ...infact to be honest ive not really read up on whats good saleing for a season and whats not .(lack of posts and reading others)(though obviously i knew compared to RL it was good job that was my point) certainly if i realized the amount of abuse id get i wouldnt have mentioned it...but hey it my first post little forgivness please? Seriously im not even best in my family so ive no dillusions of grandura (my father yestarday bless him has got Shrewsbury up to 8th in the first season with considerably less players sold.)((although that said ive put so much effort into find decent players that can be bought but Shrewsbury it did cross my mind it was a pretty decent attempt sale wise still again was never my ention to offend so apologizes again)
still amoung all the interesting theories im pretty sure that stan laurel hit the nail of the head my ...astrmonical wage bill hasnt helped matters at all and if made an effort to cut it ( i made none at all and it has been way over since about a week in. one player even made me physically gasp when i noticed his wage bill had gone up to 75,000 a week ((mainly due to mmmm rather generous bonus i offered)) this is probably the main source of my sacking with this in mind ill probably give it another go although im pretty tempted to give a true LLM team a go

i used tactics from other people (including yours alot Elrawkum thanks liked it alot)
i was in my fourth season (up to late october not three)
it was an early version of the game FM2006 6.01 i used. I believe its up to 6.02 now
when i say 200 million (pounds!) thats not complete profit thats just total sales obviously alot of that was respent on players.
yeah my spelling sucks and my punctution is abysmal so apologizes for that to still i passed english g.c.s.e grade c (probably was a little more focused on that though than a post in a forum)
i blame my starsign (pisces) but honestly id be more embassed hitting a B flat than a B on a guitar than i would spelling something wrong ive always had little or no interest in spelling and certain am bemused by people who spend there time correcting and abusing others for lack of ability.
First, I'd suggest having a good read of the rules before you post again. This will save you a lot of grief.
You weren't insulted - by this forum's standards you were treated relatively gently. Honestly
I'm glad you enjoyed my tactics, but the point of LLM is that you do it all yourself and that means starting with the default tactics and adjusting them to suit your own style/players, without advice or instructions from anyone else. Anything else is just not LLM.
The reason why it's important for your spelling and grammar be at least passable is that many of the readers of this forum don't have english as a first language and may struggle even with correct english - imagine how unitelligible bad english would be to them.
All the rules are there for a reason. If you think they are unreasonable, then fair enough, this probably isn't the place for you. If, however, you think this forum is full of like-minded people, then maybe it can be.
If so, Take the advice given, read a few threads (the history one is useful for background) and see what you think.
nightfinch, we don't use downloaded tactics when we start a season. We make our own from scratch even though I know a few great ones(currently lost six in a row with current tactic )
Secondly, my home language is Afrikaans(something between Dutch and German) and have always made an effort about improving my English. From what I can gather you are English, and not even making an effort to spell!
English isn't my native language either, and like DukE said, I'm always putting effort into my writings. When I'm reading something, I like to understand what is written, without having to puzzle around what is meant. And since others will feel the same way, I try to make life easier for them.
This place is for people from all over the world, and not everyone has English as their first language. So, if you read something, and you don't know a word, what's the first thing you do? You look it up in a dictionary. If the word isn't spelt properly though, you can't find it in a dictionary and thus there's no chance to understand what the person was talking about anyway. So keep that in mind.
As for Elrawkum: you must have been a really big figure in your former life, there have been quite a few people referring to you lately.
Cosmo: I know - don't know what to say, really. I suspect that they see a former T&TTer here and think it's ok, without, in some cases, having a serious think about what type of gamer they themselves are.
If I'm responsible in any way for dragging in any undesirables because of my former reputation I apologise.
Yeah well quite obviously this post was on the wrong forum and the more im reading the more i understand and more embassing it is! teach me to jump in all guns blazing....not that i consider tactic using (long as it doesnt imbalance the game) cheating as such but obviously i see your point of views and what your trying to acheive and much respect for that its just a think the games is imbalanced (agaist) unless your (skilled/lucky/way to much time on your hands)at tactics. Anyway sounds interesting im sure ill give a real LLM ago sometime. Yeah sorry for going off on one on the spelling to in restrospect i should have left that comment for anyone with english as there first language your entitled to be a little miffed if its not and im cleary not making the effort i should be.
