The bigger the coach, the more people it can take to away games. Also modern ones have TV, air-con, refreshments, toilets...

I don't believe there's any way of offering your non-playing staff to other clubs (in FM05 at least). There's an option on the manager info screen ("Make board request" or something) which allows you to request more cash for salaries. As for whether it's a good idea - you'll just have to suck it and see.

Sucked that one before and saw…. I’ve even issued the board an ultimatum….. Can’t really tell you how that finished up though

Never tried the ultimatum thing. In fact I've found my dealings with the board to be quite boring and impersonal so far in FM05. Never had the feeling I was dealing with a Deadly Doug Ellis type or a raving nutter like that Real Madrid fellow.

Is Berlusconi the chairman of Milan in the game? There are several ultimatums I'd like to issue him with.

Oh you have got to try the ultimatum button, it’s even more exciting that penalties. It’s that split second after you have clicked it when you wonder whether your 10 year save game has gone down the toilet. Exhilaration at it’s finest

Not to be recommended but I did this in a Leigh RMI save (back in CM03 I think).

I went please increase the size of the stadium

They went “F@ck off”

Ultimatum

The fans came out supporting me.

The board went F@ck off... but we will overlook it this one time”

I really didn’t care any more I was on a death wish.

I clicked on the Increase the size of the stadium button again.

They went “F@ck off” again

Ultimatum again.

“Plans are already in place to increase the size of the stadium”

Always make sure your coach has a valid MOT. Otherwise it could be a bugger get to away games.
