How far does the Determination attribute govern what percentage of the PA will actually be reached? For example, two players have a PA of 160; one player's Determination is 6 and the other's 20. One would expect the player with 20 to reach a high level of ability than the other due to his determined nature? Or is there a correlation in that players with higher PAs generally have higher determination?

Apologies if this has been asked before.

I always looked at determination as a purely "on pitch" attribute and nothing to do with reaching PA.

Have I been wrong all this time? :eek:

Determination is the most important stat. It does have off field implications (how hard they work in training, how they respond to manager media comments, etc), but I'm not sure if this is one of them

I'd assume that it applies to other areas too, such as training. Which would also mean that a very determined player will reach his potential sooner than a less determined one.
But in any case I think proper training (meaning coaches, schedule and facilities) and the right mix of played matches will do more towards a player's progress than their determination or lack thereof.
