Sorry if this has been asked a gazillion times, but I have run out of patience, so thought i'd register and pose this question in the hope that somehow has had the same problems and got around it!!
Basically, after going to the troubleshooting etc and being send to portforward.com to resolve the issue, myself and a mate still cannot set up a network game. The problem, we believe is because we both use routers to gain our internet connection. As I said, we tried things suggested, but they haven't work, as we still can't connect to a game when we both try setting up. I am on a Netgear Router, he is on a Linksys. I am on a macbook and he's on a XP running laptop.
Does anyone have any idea how to get around this? I hope so!! It's for FM07, as we're waiting for another mate to deliver our free copies of FM08 (gets given copies by his footie club).
