Default I've said some horrible things, but I take It back. I take it all back.

Kevin Stewart.

23 year old striker.

Club top scorer for the past 3 seasons.

Absolutely indespensible to the club.

He wanted to move to a bigger club, so I had to sell him to Aston Villa for £20m.

Luckilly I had included a £20m buy back clause, so I could hope to bring him back to Brentford.

My board had allowed me to offer him £90k/week when he was at the club.

He wanted £65k/week (to match what he was on at Villa)

My damn board would only let me offer £20k/week.

Has he not shown you what he's done for us?

So after a couple of days of mouthing off about the borad to my flatmates.

I offred him the maximum wage (no signing on fee obviously), not expecting anything to happen.

Hahaha Hahaha!

He's coming back, after 9 days at Villa, and Villa are paying another £20k/week towards his wages.

Hahaha Hahaha!

I'm so pleased.

I love my board!!!

Really.

Well if it's any consolation, then that's the only time I've seen it in 50 game-years on this save.

both nowhere near as unrealistic as a player signing for a club then leaving nine days later with the buying club agreeing to pay part of his wages

Let me get this straight? The board made you sell him because the offer was too good to refuse, then they let you buy him back for the same money - making themselves look like complete turds.

Just another reason why this so-called "simulation" is about as realistic as a cow jumping over the moon.

The board didn't make me sell him. I sold him myself because his contract was runnng out.

He wanted to move to a bigger club when we were in the championship, and I couldn't get him to change his mind.

Aston Villa are a traditional big club in 2052, but almost got relegated last season (the transfer was arranged to happen a year after it was agreed, maybe they hadn't budgeted for it), wheras I won it an am now in europe.

Maybee it is unrealistic, but I'm just excited I'm stil finding new stuff in FM05...

If it was happening all the time then maybe but on the basis of hamann and mikel above suprising things do happen

What do you want, FM08 to play out the season in every league in every country goal for goal?

That has been a standard problem throughout FM07. My Greenock Morton board constantly intercepted bids from Premier League clubs for my players, resulting in us having a £50 million bank balance. I was tee'd off at it because I wanted to keep the players instead of a Swiss Bank full of cash, but the stupid thing was that I had 100% of the money put into my transfer kitty.

So they don't trust me to decide for myself about selling a player for £10 million, but they are quite happy to let me go out and spend that money on any old player once they've sold him!
