Processing fixtures slows down DRASTICALLY when FM is in the background
Am i the only one who's noticing this?
I play the game in windowed mode. Every so often there will be a processing screen, and the game will be processing fixtures and showing me the scores.
So, being in windowed mode, i switch to my web browser and read the forums or check some other websites while i wait.
Five minutes later, i'll return to FM, only to notice that the game is only 20% done with processing the fixtures. I gave you 5 minutes, WTF?
But here's the best part...now that i'm actually looking at the game, it goes from 20% to 100% and done in a matter of 30 seconds! 0-20 takes 5 minutes, but 20-100 takes 30 seconds? Why?
When you tell my little brother to do something, he'll act like he's doing it, until you look away, then he'll go back to playing his Wii or whatever. Has FM turned into my little brother?
If so, can we have the option to give the game a smack or take away its Wii, to make sure it doesn't slack off?

What OS are you running the game on?
I'm pretty sure that OS X prioritises CPU power to whatever the top level app you're running is. It also happens when you're doing something like watching a YouTube video, then select the desktop or something, the video becomes very choppy.
If you're not running OS X then I don't know what would be causing it.

I have no idea why the game decides to go to sleep whenever it's not the top window...
wba: It's nothing to do with my computer speed. If i sit and watch the bar fill up, it will take about 30-45 seconds even with my 10 nations running. If i go to the web browser, though, it will process for minutes and minutes until i happen to go back to the FM window, then it will be about 30 seconds until it finishes.
