I'm new to this forum so I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what patch I should be downloading to fix the bugs in the UK version of the game and where I can find the link to download the patch?

As far as I know there is only one patch for FM 2008 so far - the 8.0.1 patch. There is a sticky thread at the top of the forum that should have the necessary download links.

There is another patch coming in Feb I believe and judging from the reaction on here it's 50/50 as to whether you install the current patch or not.

Thanks for that. Do you know if any of the patches works with a saved game?

Patches are save game compatible. However some fixes may take some time to filter through into the game.

In FM 2007 for exmaple I started the game unpatched and just carried on playing the same saved game each time a new patch came out after installing it.

That's good. Hopefully i should be able to get fixtures for the next season of the Scottish league pretty soon.
