In your manager profile it always shows your hapiness as 'Short term plans' - 'No immediate plans for the future'. Also, I only ever seem to get offered a contract a month before the renewal date.

How about an option to change that? Maybe you could talk to the press about your contract, or your thoughts on your teams performance as a whole?

We can tell the press when an individual player is playing well, why not the whole team?

Being able to comment on the team as a whole is something that people have been crying out for over the past few years and I think it should be in there as well as the ability of being able to tell a player he is going out on loan for first team experience - that one is long overdue as well.

Regarrding manager contracts - has this changed on FM 2008 then, as before it used to be three months before it expired that you were offered a new deal?

I'm managing weston-s-mare in the blue square premier, so maybe the date you can renew contracts depends on the league you're in?
