it is the attackers shooting from extremely awkward and stupid angles. and more importantly so many times when their teammate is wide open, a player goes ahead and shoots from that awkward angle instead of passing (even on passes that would %100 reach, no defenders between, no offside either) and ofc most of the time miss. in general this is a 1 on 1 issue too.
would like to see more passes that will bring goals for %100. and maybe more trying to round the keeper.

I do see your point, but I think the match engine is so flawed that if the player with the ball passed rather than hit a shot then there would be far too many goals in the game.
There are far too many chances in the game. In real life,even with 2 attacking tems, there aren't as many chances as there are in FM.
The problem you suggest does need fixing, but the number of oppertunitie like this needs to be reduced also.
