actually, if you have a quick look at my analysis thread, the main problem would appear to be that the shooting is too accurate by far.

Yes it is, also any wooden leffed centerback in any league can pinpoint a 70 yard pass to a pacey striker. Several times a day.

We need a new patch also for the reason that currently players have their CA and in particular physical stats declining way too quickly when they reach 30 years old. A world class player such as Iniesta becomes a championship player when he is 33 because he only has 10 stamina. Also in fm07 7.0.2, even though the older players have slight declines on their physical stats, their techinical stats and mental stats all improve, that was far more realistc. In 8.0.2, the players get declines in techinical and mental stats as well when they reach 30, this is very unrealistc.

What I've seen people complain most about is attackers creating 30+ chances hitting 20 on target and only score one or two goals. To me that looks like defense need to be improved so the chances drop significantly. Another way to drop those chances would be to reduce the most stupid shots abit, but they should still happen.

Many of those 30 shots on goal come from an angle where the law of physics should deem it impossible to anything but the side of the goal. More passing from stupid angles and a good enough defense to deal with those passes so we don't get too many highscoring games should help fixing the shots to goal ratio abit without taking the excitement out of the game.

Another thing that might be a good idea is to find a way for the game to deem what is a good chance and what is a shot from far out or a dead angle and actually count real chances. Then we might see that there are only a handful of real chances as it is kinda hard to tell at this point.

the problem is the match engine! i dont beleive it is a prticularly accurate rssemblance of what the game is trying to portray half the timwe

like when a defender stands still, maybe hes slipped but u cant tell when its a stupid circle lol

or maybe the area of play or area the shot is from isnt accurate to the position the commentary means?

i think the 1 on 1 ratio is ok goalwise but there is just oo many chances!!

and the defenders play perfect passes too often for through balls, especially in lower leagues, seems as if they have pirlos ability
