hi, i have a question for all the managers out there. in my Real Madrid current game, i just won Barcelona 0-5 on a cup game. Well, first surprise was to score that many goals, since usually i do not score more than 2 goals per game.

anyway, second surprise was that the final ratings for my players were quite low for the score, or so i thought. most of them were 7, 2 of them had 8 and higuain, who scored twice, had a 9. it surprised me most that the GK had only a 7, since he saved many shots.

then, when looking at the fans and board reactions, they were only marginally happy about that game. they said that they were happy to win a direct opponent, but the green bar was barely above the mid spot.

so, my question is, dont you think it is a little bit strange that Real Madrid fans and Board are only "happy" about a 0-5 victory against Barcelona? and also, dont you think my players should have gotten better ratings after such an incredible game? i mean, most of my players get a 7 or 8 even on 1-0 games at home. i would have guess that a 0-5 victory away should be rated higher.

Fan reactions need looking at.

My 19th placed Catania side lost 3-2 at Delle Alpi to 3rd placed Juventus in the last minute to a blinding goal by Del Piero, and the fans are deeply unhappy to lose to a rival.

My fans were more happy with me winning worthless last league match than beating Milan 4-0 in CHL final with a team that is playing in CHL for the first time, but news item said that they are building me a statue..

And what is even funnier is that I got that monthly confidence saying that they wont forget my Chl semifinal away loss of 5-4 to arsenal even though I beat them at home and progressed.. Stupid

the board and fan confidence was a great idea, but sadly doesn't work for s@&t. Losing to a rival should be dissappointing, but if they are clearly a much better side then it should not be the end of the world, especially to the board.

Winning well against a rival is never met with the delight that it would in rea life(your 5-0 win for example). I'm sure had you lost 5-0 then your board would have crucified you. In real life your win would result in dancing on the streets and years of gloating rights.

Hope the final patch fixes this, but expect it to be just a data update and no more.

This really doesn't work. And it would be greatly apreciated if the staff at SI could comment if this area is under review for the next patch. This not working really takes a lot away from this great game.

My board was pleased with winnning the carling cup but pretty much told me to keep my feet on the ground and focus on the important stuff.
