Default FM08 on Mac

Im waiting on delivery of a new macbook i've ordered.

I only ask this because i dont have extensive usage experience with a mac, so how will the game run on mac?

The new machine is a 2.2GHz Intel with 2GB RAM.

What level of installation and database would be best for me?

Is it possible to run FM08 in a seperate 'space' and have other things going on too? Or will it eat up too much processing power?

Thanks in advance, i plan to be on here a bit once i get the game started.

Hi man, I run FM on a macbook with the same specs as well. I have a few leagues on at large database and at the same time run safari and msn messenger as well. It works like a charm, with no graphics lag whatsoever. Feel free to FM away cos it's very likely that you'd enjoy the full processing power of a mac.

I'm running a two player network game with 24 leagues (all playable) and large database on my macbook 2GHz / 2GB RAM and it runs fine. I'm also running at least Safari, Mail, Adium and HamachiX on the side.
