Its the same as if some one has a "1" attribute for finishing, this doesn't mean he will miss every single time.
this is wot i mean, it should be judged as in if the player can finish good or not.
SO wots the point of these attributes if they are implemented? </BLOCKQUOTE>
don't know what you mean? is your first language not English?(genuine question,no offense intended) I thought I pretty much answered your query?

Why high attributes when they cant do it perfect? Post #12
Are you saying that if you buy a striker with 20 for finishing then none of his other attributes should matter?
Also keep in mind that he is up against defenders and goalkeepers try to stop him.(ie a world class defender or keeper can stop a world class striker, they can cancel each other out.)

You've got to look for attribute combinations rather then looking at one specific attribute.
For example, a striker with finishing 20, composure 5 and off the ball 7 is going to make a pretty poor striker. He might be a good finisher, but he's pretty poor a getting into good positions, and when he does, he lacks composure, so he bottles it.
A stiker with finishing of 16,composure 15 and off the ball 16 is going to make a pretty good striker. He can finish, he's got good movement, and he remains composed when he's about to pull the trigger. The first striker might be a better finisher, but there is no doubt the second striker is better as he is a better rounded striker.
And lets not forget the importance of other players, morale, and individual tactical instructions have.

Watford aren't really lower league, I was really refering to league 2 and below.
But like I'm saying simply being a great finisher isn't enough, perhaps he has low composure or poor decision making, so he will miss chances due to these attributes.

so whats the point of buying someone with high attributes if they dont perform according to their attributes?
Its already been explained that with finishing in matches, there's more than than just the finishing attribute influencing what the player does.
Its also been explained to you that a rating of 20 means he's amongst the best in the world at whatever it is (i.e. freekicks). It doesn't mean he's perfect at it, nobody is.

and im trying to say that they shouldnt be high ratings in certain things if they cant perform as we expect them to.
i understand that they need other things, most my strikers have high composure and good off ball and positioning, but still cant finish against lower clubs with crap keepers and defenders
