i've played the last 3 or 4 fm constantly and i've enjoyed them so much, but now i've given up as i'm so dissatisfied with the current release. here's why
the pre-patch release for me was unplayable, the board expectations bug made being a lower league club very difficult,
the 8.0.1 patch led to extraodinary shots to goals ratio,
there was also something about the match engine, almost a suspicion it was pre-determined, i found it very difficult to beat poor teams at home consistently on fm08 when in previous games it wasn't an issue,
a critical part of building a team up is raising cash through the selling of players, this in 8.0.1. became absurd, e.g.
freddy eastwood on a minimal wage was top scorer in championship 2 seasons running and then i was promoted and looked to profit from him, with a value of £5m i transfer listed him and set him to not needed, i offered him to clubs for £4m then no interest, £3m then no interest, and eventually £0 and no interest.
what is going on? you are telling me nobody is interested in someome who scored 75 league goals in two seasons.
this happened with lots of my players.

Laf... if you didn't want a reaction then what was the purpose of posting? Do you think you're going to get a PM from an SI dev saying 'Sorry for making a game you think is crap, your refund cheque is in the mail'?
Of course you have a right to air your opinion, just like other people have a right to respond. Goes both ways.
DOOMED, actually people could share their opinions on the issues i mention i.e. difficulties with selling players,
what you fail to understand is i didn't want a reaction where people like you post about nothing to do with what i originally posted about, i wanted a reaction about the things that i intended,
of course i don't want a refund, i wanted a discussion, intelligence?
