When i click on the editor, it loads most of the way, but then it reaches a certain point where it stops and the editor just disappears and all i can see is my desktop.

Now i feel that this is a problem with the memory, but i am not sure. If it is, is there any way to stop this happening? If it is not, what is it?

Just out for curiosity have you tried to do a clean uninstall and re-install with update, and then tried it?

It's the long way of doing it but might be worth a try, remeber to back any saved games up and graphics you may have added.

No i haven't. But i will try though.

Could be the memory, but it will usually try using virtual memory first. Also it should come up with an error message saying it has to be closed because of whatever reason so it is strange this happens.

If this keeps happening re-installing may be the best option
