    190 in PA, still rubbish

I used the Genie scout so that I could see how good my wonderkids would get, and noticed that a striker with lets say 190 in PA would have alot of 20s but other than that under 10 on most of the stats. Are my players ***** or is it something wrong with GenieScout??

Were those stats that are under ten have any bearing on how good of a striker he is?

If I wanted to, I could edit a player using FMM or something where they have a CA and PA of 200, but their attributes are all 1. If you're going to use Genie, forget about looking at the future attributes and look more generally at the Genie potential rating or whatever it's called - I don't use it on most of my saves. Even if you do use Genie Scout, you shouldn't need Genie to tell you that, for example, a striker with 18 finishing and 6 first touch will have better finishing skills than first touch ten years down the line.

When you get a list of attributes based on a players PA, this is only a guide as to what they might be if and only if he reaches his PA, which is rare in any case. Look at his attributes for his position now and you should be able to judge how he will turn out.

yes you have to look at the players scout rating or what ever its called to determine how good the player will be - if the player PA is 190 and has a scout rating of lets say 82 then he will have loads of 20's and if the rating is under 65 then hes not gonna be good at all

Just because they have the potential to be good in the future doesnt mean that they are good at the moment.
