Ive loaded up fm2007 database and on my start screen its only giving me the option of playing two original database's. i have named my new database by another name but still no luck! any suggestions?

Where are you putting it? In the correct My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2007/db folder?

thanks for reply weden. yeah ive done that(moved the 700 folder to my documents/sportsinteractive/fm2007/db) but still no joy!

Im having the same problem, I downloaded the Free Database where every 1 starts on a FREE transfer, I put it in C  Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db , but when I go to start new game, it just says loading database !!! no option to choose which database I want to load out of that 700 database or the new FREE transfer database, some quick help would be much appreciated as iv been trying to work it out for a couple hours now and its getting on my nerves!!! Please Please Pleeeeease, tnx in advanced

| Try renaming the folder and the XML file to something other than 700. It's probably clashing the two folders called 700 as the same one.

sounds more like they have gone over the old database with the new......which is why you still only get the option of one......

if you're using a no-cd patch it won't recognise the new db. a friend of mine was using the no-cd for his laptop but it would only work on the older 700 version and not for 701.
