A mate was telling me at work this morning,that he used the editor to cheat and give liverpool 1.5 Billion to spend on players,first I ever heard of it as I've never gone near the editor before...so I eventually found my way to the finances and edited Atletico Madrids transfer founds to 1.9 billion and balance to 2 billion..but when I started a new game to see if it worked..i was given only 24m to spend by the board...so I can safely assume he is talking out of his arse about this?

It's built into the game not to make a team have to crazy amount of money, it's all about trial and error, you could try changing the clubs reputation and adding more money but of course this will completely change the team dynamic and boards expectation.

What you can try is a program called fmm I’ve never used it but know people who have and you can edit a teams finance in the game, but remember this is third party software and SI wont support or help you if there's problems, you'll have to ask the makers for support.

i heard somewhere on this forum that the max is 299,999,999. Everytime i do this i always set the trabsfer budget to less than the balance to make sure the club stays in business. No luck yet. My last attempt had a balance of £2.4m and a transfer budget of £800m. First decent player bought nearly bankrupted me. I changed reputation to 10,000 as well and still no luck

make an edt file instead, i made things more realistic by giving chelsea 2B to spend, even though im not managing them

Make sure you tick Sugar Daddy and if you have a massive balance but small transfer funds usually you have to ask for more and youll end up with a few hundred millions - £1billion
