How do you get young players better?

I bought Sherman Cardenas, and if I make a training group thingo that improves his attacking qualities, then most of them go down along with most of his other attributes. Why is this? plz reply because I dont really know anything about training.

the only real way of players improving is playing time...send him out on loan to a club that states he will be an important member of the first team. That way you know he will play week in and week out. You will see vast improvements

Will his stats imrpove with game time? Can u send players out on loan out of the transfer window?

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.
