Ok like the title suggests im sick to death of trying to sell players.

For example in my real madrid game i had ruud v nistelroy at the age of 31 transfer listed in my castilla squad for 1m,he's still there now aged 35 and there have been no takers even on free terms.

Other players i have for sale with no interest peter crouch,hugo valdivia,jon obi mikel,marcelo"who is awesome" Raul "even at 32 his stats are mint" So why cant i seem to sell these players or indeed any for a reasonable price say 2/3 of what they are worth?

Another thing that ****es me off is that you have to pay through the nose for top class players yet the AI in all my fm07 gaming have yet to bid more than a player is worth in attempt to sign him which is total bs.

This bug as far as i am concerned has plagued the fm series and it is about time it was sorted oud.

So do you guys have any tips on getting shot of players?

I always try to loan players out who just wont sell, but i do agree that it is very difficult to sell even top quality players on this game!.

It would'nt be so bad, but you often find crappy teams bidding silly money for crappy players when you've been trying to get rid of a guy 10 times better for peanuts for the last year!.

It's quite easy actually if you understand the nature of transfers, at least i find it "easy".

Players i really want to get rid of, i put on transfer list and mark squad status as "not needed by the club". The last action always seem to trigger interest.
When/If you then get the Wnt icon by your player, use the Offer to clubs option. Of course, you have to set a significant lower asking price than the player's value.

You can't expect to get the AI bidding over player value for players it clearly understand you want to get rid of, it's using that against you.

I personally never had the problem of not getting bids much over the value for my star players. (not transfer listed)

Basically, when transfer listing a player, you tell the AI that you want to sell him, at all costs. Its like an auction, if you know the auctioneer really need to sell the item, you wont bid higly in your first bid. In a way you're asking the AI to take over your "problem" and then paying a lot for it!

I totally understand that your main concern was the large amount of players who never gets any interest. The logic here must be that other clubs don't want a player wich not even is good enough/too old/to expensive/underperforming for your club.
