I am having real difficulty trying to make my Liverpool team winners. I am now in season 2009/10 and currently lie in 7th position, am in CL 2nd round stage & out of both cups. I believe I have bought well and like to stick with a 4-4-2, similar to Liverpool and suits my players (I believe). My team:
GK: I Akinfeev
RB: D Alves/ M Richards
CB: J Carragher/F Collocini
CB: D Agger/J Hobbs
LB: L Baines/G Bale
RM: P Anderson/W Sneijder
CM: S Gerrard
CM: X Alonso/F Gago
LM: M Gonzalez/Nani
ST: D Kuyt/G Pazzini
ST: P Crouch/K Huntelaar
I have used a variation of tactics posted by some of the kings of FM & yet none of them seem to work.
I use a standard 4-4-2 Attacking (very slightly) with farrows on both the LM & RM.
Tactics are Normal Creativity, Direct Passing & Quick Tempo, Some width, closing down, use of target man & counter attack.
My CBs are defensive & fbs normal, S Gerrard has some freedom in the middle & I am using patch 7.0.2.
Passing is mixed & marking is zonal.
If anyone would have some ideas on how to perform consistently it would be much appreciated.
