Wow you actually play counter attack with a slow tempo? Hows that working out? As far as strikers instructions are concerned I think he takes too many snap shots due to low creative freedom, as in when he receives the ball he has too make a quick decition, other that that I would give him mixed through balls as to bring in the the 2 wingers into play more. Disclaimer: This is just my opinion use it at your own risk

People were saying if I use high tempo, like I was doing before, it means he will rush the shot, so I put it down to slow. He gets less shots now, but he doesnt waste them as much

Same for creative freedom. People said if I had high creative freedom he would try and be cocky with his shots and try and do chips over keeper etc. So I put it down so he just get on with the job hes paid to do, kick it in the goal.

I just changed these about 3 games ago. They was both on high, but now on the ones I told you.


I had the same idea as you, but, apparently thats wrong.

I'll just put them in the middle, and let him decide how he likes things.
