Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default How to best train a player for another postition?

I'm currently going into my third season and I have a lot of talent on my Spurs team. I was entertaining the thought of maybe making Kaboul into a good RB. Now is there a thread that is stickied that has all the attributes that every position really needs to be good. Like what does a different player need to have in order to switch positions and be solid at a different position? Also if you have a thought on this please let me know also tell me what you think about Kaboul becoming a RB. Thanks in advance.

Personally i find to get players to play in different positions just train him in a different position Right Back (obviously).

PLay him right back right from the off and put him on a fullbacks training regime.

And that should about do it? Cause when I do start training Kaboul at RB it says that he is ineffuctel, so does that mean he will learn in time?

That means that he will have a hard time learning.
Teaching players totally new position (positions that are not marked in the "position" box of the player), will take time, loads of time.
