Is there anywhere on the player's profile that can tell you if he requires a work permit?

And if not, how could I try to tell before I sign a player, if he needs a WP? What nationalities/age etc. does a player have to be if he is not to require a WP?

A scout mentions whether a player can get a wp or not in his scout repoert so try that.

yeah Non-EU, unless they have a EU nation as a second nationality, e.g Mr X's nation says Brazil, has a 2nd nationality as Portugal, then he wouldnt require a WP iirc

if the player has international caps he has a better chance of attaining a work-permit
