It seems to me that at least potetntial wise Andrea Barzagli is the second best defender in the game after John Terry!

Has the game seriously overrated this man or is he as awesome in real life as he is in the game?

I know he was well known in the last version but has anybody tried him yet in FM08? How is he?

he is rock solid and has good pace too...had him at chelsea in teh demo...him and terry were amazing together at the back

a tip: barca often come in hard for him when you bid, so offer wages over what he asks (i offered 70K) to win his signature

his teamwork and work rate i think it is has been boosted by around 10 points from last year making him one of the best, as he always wants to leave palermo at the start of teh game you can get him for quite cheap.

last year he wasnt a complete defender because his work rate was low,.

Overall Palermo are way overrated.
Look at Amauri, Barzagli, Agliardi (one of the best goalkeepers on the game!?), Dellafiore, Cavani, Cassani, Bresciano etc.

On my game they sold the following players the first year: Barzagli, Cassani, Bresciano, Zaccardo, Amauri and Budan for a total of 72 (!) mio pounds and still they were unstopable and won the league.

Way overrated.

this was taken up in the italy database section. to bad italian researcher used the easy way and used same stats at palermo almost as last year.

palermo in my games get raped over and over in fm2008 and all good players are sold away to the big teams...
