I'm Arsenal (obviously) and in my 3rd season and Cesc Fabregas has had yet another season to forget. His form is woeful and he never seems to live up to expectations. I am contemplating selling him. Am I nuts ? Am I the only person that this has happened to ?

Also was wondering whether or not Lansbury, Merida would be good enough to replace him as I like to stick to Arsenes policy of brining and blooding youngsters through the ranks.

I'm only hanging on to Fabregas as he's home grown. I don't get why he's so good in the game. He does ok, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Dont worry about the AR's mate. They are quite silly in the game. I've had a striker set up 3 goals in a game and still get a rating of 7. Just look at Fab's pass completion rate more than anything. If its high, then he's doing good. In the game its very hard to play through the middle and get goals. That's why Fabregas loses out. I think its the same story with DM's. But a good DM linking up with Fabregas help run the midfield for you. You'll probably notice the difference when you drop Cesc in especially the big matches. Keep him, play him and forget about the AR.

Sorry for the double post. Another example of a DM getting a poor rating (its just as bad for them as CM's) when playing out of his skin. Last game of mine, I had Flamini mark Kaka in the CL when I came up against Milan. I think he had like 1 shot on goal and his pass completion rate was also very poor. He was shut out of the game by Flamini and I went on to win the tie. Flamini's rating in the match? A measely 6. Idiots!

the game always seems to be skingy to quality dms and cms even when you watch them on extended replay totally controlling the midfield they get 6s and 7s half the time; unless they score a 30 yarder they dont seem to get the ratings; its annoying.

Carragher you are spot on, DMs and CMs always get **** ratings, doesnt seem to matter who you sign.

He and Merida were out for Merida four month and Fabregas two month, which caused me to finish second by a point with a late surge when them two came back to full fitness. He's fantastic for me.
