Default No manager - bug?

Ive played about a season and a half in my new game and Kettering havent had a manager for most of that time.

Is that normal? I have all England leagues on, but im not managing in England.

So your not managing in England? So you must be a Kettering fan! Perhaps their board thinks their assitant manager is doing fine a job of holding the fort while they sort through the dross and pick and ideal manager..

Or it could be a bug..

I once saw a Spanish Segunda division club sack its manager and then play out the final several weeks without one. It seemed that the club was waiting to see whether it would be relegated or would stay up before appointing the next manager. I had applied for this position and kept waiting and waiting, and it wasn't until after the season ended and a couple of more weeks had gone by when I finally got an indiciation. I didn't get the job.

Maybe the Kettering situation is an extension of this. Maybe the club wants to see how the assistant manager will handle things, or maybe no one worthy of the club's consideration has applied for the job.

Have there been any rumours about the job in the media?

I think it's a bug. The same thing happened with Kettering in mine and they were managerless for 2 and a bit seasons before the got relegated out of the game. The same thing has since happened with two other clubs in the Conference North/South.

Oops this should have gone in the bug forum - I had too many windows open.

But anyway - at least its a LL team and I didnt break any rules

I dont think there have been any rumours - -but i might have missed them - i wasnt looking for a move.

Ive just started my second season and theyre still managerless, so I dont think its that.

Oh well never mind - its not the end of the world!

I applied for the Kettering job (started unemployed with England and Finland selected so it's the only one available), and so far they've taken two seasons (holiday mode :p) to appoint anyone, even though I've applied. So it's probably a bug.
