This deserves a bump up . . .

I've got a DC who is in his mid-30s \, solid technical skills, outstanding mental abilities, but has admittedly lost a step or two. Now, Assio Manio, just after promotion to the Championship says signing oldguycentreback wouldn't be worthwhile (forgetting I guess, that we had no one else who was worthwhile either). The guy does nothing less than lead the team in appearances and avg. rating.

Not liking the squad assessments this holio was giving me I sacked and got a better one (this poor bugger thought we would have no chance of avoiding relegation in 1) league 1 and 2) Championship, but we promoted both seasons ).

Enter new Arse man who thinks better of squad but sayd oldguycentreback is no longer of any use and should be asked to leave the club. He goes on to be 2nd in appearances, and again lead the team in avg rating in the Prem (where we finished 11th, so there were a lot of guys playing well).

I guess it's genetic to Assmen.

I've had Arsemen who've told me that most of the signings my scouts reccomended were useless and a waste of money, only to pick them above first team regulars when I asked them to pick the team for me once.

Not to mention the amount of times we've needed "strengthening in every area of the field if we're to avoid relegation", only to be promoted...

Assmen are pretty useless, overall :p

similar thing happened with me recommended some players were not worthwhile i let him take the friendlys and in all them matches he played this player

My assman's years in war torn Macedonia have left him a pessamistic fellow. He's been predicting relegation ever since he got here, and hardly rates any of my players, though he may have a point there
