Myself I'm just sick of people who aren't interested in LLM as it is at all but come here and think they can make themselves at home, ignoring rules, guidelines, ethics, and so on.

Why does a TT&T regular need to come here and tell us that the game is far too easy in his opinion? Personally, it's a smack into the face of everyone else. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Yeah, but all he's after is a reaction. If he was ignored and the threads closed by the mods, the jokers wouldn't come back. </BLOCKQUOTE>

To be honest im just here to update my thread but ive but treat like a mass murderer, im not here for a mass reaction just want to update my thread so other people can view it if they want to

I told people of my Brantwood save true.

Elrawkum can you honestly say you dont use some tactic building things you learnt from T&TT not learnt but remember, what about things i discovered my self and remember, i only post on my thread there to help others not my self
.
The difference between you and I, Wes, is that I have understood the LLM ethos and have been able to shed my T&TT ways, as best as is possible considering the knowledge I already gained. And since I expressed my desire to post here, I understood the reasoning behind not posting in T&TT, which you plainly don't. Of course I can't forget all that knowledge, but that's not really the issue; I'm not sharing my tactical thoughts with anyone else, as you did with your save, and I'm not using any tactics which I developed prior to my LLM days (which you are).

You say you only give advice in your own thread, but correct me if I'm wrong; doesn't that involve an exchange of ideas? Don't you refine your tactics based on feedback from your thread? Can you honestly say you haven't been influenced by suggestions/thoughts raised in that thread?

All these things, and the fact that you are posting a save game in which you were actively engaged in tactical discussions during the playing of it, make your Brantwood save unquestionably against the ethics of LLM. If you can't see that and are allowed to post those specific updates, then I'm afraid that the guidelines are being diluted to the point of redundance.

I'm a little shocked at some of the leniency being shown for this update, considering how plainly it goes against LLM ethics. I'm not against you personally Wes*, but as far as I'm concerned, as I've stated previously, I for one won't take your updates seriously until you have stopped posting in T&TT (I know you haven't for 5 days, but you express your intention to do so again in some of your responses above) and start a new save game under proper LLM guidelines.

*(honestly - I know it seems like I'm attacking you, but it's your save I have the problem with because you were actively engaged in T&TT discussions during the playing of it. And your unwillingness to see that LLM (as expressed in this forum) is not just a distraction, but a whole style/ethos of playing that discounts any 'non-LLM' saves.

Ok this thread has broken down somewhat since I last read it...

May I suggest that if this is genuine LLMing (which it now appears not to be), then you should start a new thread and have this one closed before it turns into full on warfare and if it's not, then the thread should be closed and you should go away and renounce your sins!
