I finally sold my young striker to Huddersfield for 500k took us out of debt… for now so I used the money to bring in a new midfielder and brought a striker up from the reserves.
Board wanted us to have a mid-table finish but wanted to challenge for a play-off place.
As the season started we stayed in the play-off from start till finish we finished the season second 2 points behind the winners we won the semi play-off against Marine 4-0 on aggregate and then won the final against Hucknall 3-0. The team is really turning into some giant killers beating league 1 side Gillingham 1-0.
The new striker I brought up from the reserves ended up scoring 36 goals and is now worth over 100k wonder how much I could get for him but I don’t think I’m going to sell him only decent player ill have in conference national.

Conference north: 42 25 7 10 82pts.
Fa cup: 2nd round

Highlight of the season: promotion
