Maybe I just got lucky, but playing as Bognor, i've bought 4 players for under 10k in the past 18 months, and gone on to sell them for at least £1.5million plus 50% sell-on each.
Once they have a club interested, with their value around *tip* but it seems a little unrealistic.
a) Im not bragging, im bringing to the attention of the forum what seems to me like an anomoly in the game, with the purpose of discovering whether it is either a bug, which would someone nullify my achievements, or whether my scouts were successful in bringing to my attention a player with high PA.
b) I was not tipping, if LLM players are unaware of the button that says "Offer to Clubs" then that isn't exactly my fault. Are you telling me when a big club is interested in one of your star players you never offer him to them for a huge figure, just in case?
Several have grumbled about this, some even refusing what they consider to be unrealistic offers. Others are lucky to get a tin of dubbin for their players.
iajafer, i wasn't trying to break the rules. LLM is the obvious place to ask this, as the guys here are more likely to pay attention, and as mkus says, refuse, transfers that seem unrealistic, and to have actually played in ECS. How many posters in General Questions have long term games that low down?
IT's unlikely that people in this forum would offer there players to higher clubs on the off chance they might buy one for loads of money as it breaks the realms of realism, which after all is what we strive for. That also applies, as mkus has mentioned, to some turning down unrealistic bids for there players.

You can't actually choose who you offer players too and I think he meant offering the players out after another club was interested, which is hardly unrealistic.

The unrealistic part applies to the vastly inflated transfer fee to "test the water".
