This is only my 2nd or 3rd attempt at LLM and I decided to go abroad rather than stick with the home nations....I used the random generator and it came up with Alcorcon in the Spanish 2nd Division B2. Let's go!!
The team was a little thin on players but had a couple of decent players in on loan already...I scouted around Spain and picked up a young LB and signed a midfielder and striker on loan as back-up to the starting 11.
My first season in charged started well enough, unbeaten in my first 6 games and managing to win most games against the smaller opposition. When it came to the bigger teams in the league, I could handle them at home, but away from home, I found myself getting thumped 3 or 4-1...but I managed to keep it together and finished 8th in the league - over 25pts above 9th place.
Only problem is...one of the best players will ending his loan deal this season and a few other new signings will be needed to replace the players who I won't be keeping...it's a busy summer ahead!!!
