I really haven’t notices one way or the other so I’m in the “it seems okay to me camp”.

I’m guessing that this may be to do with the “Hack him down at all cost” button. Is it the same player that keeps on giving away the penalties, or have you got a team of lager lout thugs?

I think the game has that button Hogie.
I have 5 Strikers on IR right now, and 3 midfielders. I can't seem to go more than a couple of games without someone getting Twatted a good one.

You see that is the trouble with this game, in every league there is one human and twenty odd AI managers. It’s a bit naïve to think that all the AI bosses don’t meet up in cyber space and discuss how to beat me. One cyber nod from the big boss and the word goes out to break my striker’s leg. Honestly if they could read what I’m writing they would have a contract out on me too! Fortunately Ian banned them all last year for pretending to play LLM while lurking in the GPG and T&T forums.

I have noticed that i get slightly more penalties than the opposition, doesnt mean i score them all though

I tend to go through phases, right now I seem to more penalties than my opponents, but earlier on this season I was giving away loads, including 2 'Cheating C*nt surely took a dive there' ones in a single game

In FM06 I have an unbelievably bad conversion rate for penalties. Last season it was 2 from about 10

I cant score penalties for ****. Even with my guy with penalty taking 20 - he must be a bottler.

Without tipping, I think its all to do with tactics - running and stuff. I wont say any more becasue a) I dont know what im talking about
and b) dont want to get in trouble

In an aborted game, I conceded 13 penalties in 13 games. On one occasion, my keeper saved a penalty and then as the rebound went out into the box the same defender who'd given away the first one fouled their striker again for another penalty.

Not very amusing.
