Now, I know this will be a problem for you Americans and Israelis but I just couldn't resist

It's 28th December 2008, they've just sacked some dude called Adnan Hamad and obviously thought that a Scottish guy currently languishing with Leigh RMI was the man for them.

I'll have a word with Saddam (if he hasn't been beheaded by 2008)

I wouldn't disown you. You should read some of the articles Bernd Stange wrote about being the Iraqi national manager though. Especially the death threatenings.

On the other hand: how can you shock a Scot anyway?
