Look at it this way, Chris.

It's a Guideline. If you think it's justifiable to use Quick Search, if you think there's a real life equivalent, then use it.

I think there's none. In order to use Quick Search you have to have prior knowledge of a person, and that's seldom from good means.

FM's a game. We're not real managers. We don't have "friends" in the game to recommend us players, we don't have the facility to know players unless by foul means.

We have scouts.

Quick Search, therefore, is against the spirit of LLM.
