I usually find it almost impossible to find another job after I've been sacked, even with my game where I had all England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and NI leagues running. I usually end up having to create another user and add them to a team so I can continue playing. I don't know if this is a bug with the 6.02 patch or not, but it can be frustrating to sit through 4 seasons and not receive even one consideration from a shitty team in a shitty league.

I did an unemployment experiment by adding three managers and putting them all on holiday to see how their careers contrasted. After about 16 years and about as many jobs each (I set it on apply for jobs at higher reputation clubs) I have a Man U manager, a Port Vale manager, and a Luton manager so there doesn't seem to be too much of a bug there!

I tried staring unemployed once. It took me till late December before I applied... successfully... for the Harrogate job. Plenty of higher league jobs had cropped up before then, but the media accused me of being desperate - to be fair they had a point
It's a nice feature to start unemployed, but it doesn't really gain you anything other than adding a touch more realism to an otherwise awesome game.

Starting unemployed and waiting for a LLM job to become available has a slight advantage over Frank in that you are very likely to get a really cr@p team. Whereas Frank, though still a demigod, does not distinguish real LLM clubs from simple lower league clubs, and in many leagues you cannot really tell the difference when you start a career.
Just a couple of days ago, Frank sent me to Jahn Regensburg (German Regionalliga). Average wage budget for the league, not too much to spend - looked ok. Then after a week my scout finds me this guy, a Portuguese DM, 22 and with one international cap, who has been just released by Benfica or other Sporting. Just for fun, I make him an offer, and the next day I get myself a current Portuguese international. Guess the club has better reputation than I thought . That was the end of that career for me.

| Why would you be scouting Portugal with a German Regionalliga team? Even Central Europe would be pushing it for such a low team, IMHO.

Again, people seem to miss that the Regionals in Germany already feature Germany's 37th best team. In England, that would be in the Championship then.
