Stadium Expansion Blocked

Hi

Currently Weymouth in the Premiership and having begged the board to expand tiny stadium from 8000 (3000 seated) to whatever they thought suitable.

I was looking forward to the new stadium plan but the council blocked the plans.

With even increasing wage budget,i always found that gate recipents would take care of this . But not know.

Is there anyway of reverting the council decision??

Similar situation here. I have Weymouth in the Championhip but only pulling in crowds of 7500

. Board won't consider any expansion at the moment either.

I wish SI would take the stadium expansion option out of the game. It's not a manager's place to ask for that sort of thing. If the money men can't do the maths, that's their problem.

I agree on that. What you basically are asking is more money for transfers and wages. A manager has no influence on sponsordeals, gate receipts etc expect for winning matches with your team.
If you win enough matches more people will come and watch and hopefully sponsors want to pay more money for their exposure.

happens irl, happened twice wiv my beloved newcastle , 1st we got an extension 2 the east stand and the gallowgate turned down, and then they got turned down when they planed to built a new stadium

I agree that stadium size it's not a work for the manager, becouse finances in general isn't, but i think that expansion for training ground is something that the manager may make pressure for...

i'm currently with Northwic in teh Championship, and am limited to a 2500 capacity. leaking serious cash every month, and i'm having to sell a couple of players a year to balance the books. just like real life championship sides!!!

best next thing then would be to make you the chairmen but then i dont think that would be considered football manager would it.
