hi im new to llm i have read all the rules and i promise i will not ask for names or anything like that.

I have just started a new game with vauxhall motors and was wondering how long realisticly it would take to get them (a relagation candidate team) to say league1. Would it take me 4 years or even 10 any help is much appreciated.

Realistically? Given that Vauxhall Motors have never been in League One, I'd say realisically we won't see them in League One in our lifetimes.

If you're talking about the game ... who knows? Depends on the luck of the draw, the players your scouts uncover...

Personally, don't set yourself goals like that. Just pick a team, see where it leads you and enjoy the view as you go along.

That is the exact reason, why people here are so touchy when a perosn from GPG and/or TT comes to LLM. Wouldn't using tactics and training that can get you sky-high be too much of temptation?

If you play by the rules, GPG knowledge shouldn't be a problem. Just because you are aware of a player doesn't mean you have to sign him! TT&T is another story however...

As a matter of fact I signed a certain Yankee/Ghanaian from Chelsea, he wasn't getting a game and came well recommended by my scout, and he now patrols my left wing playing a decent game...nothing spectacular, my last AM/L FC was found by my scout as a kid, played for the Poofland U21s and the Top Team and signed for Chelski on a Bosman and was much better.

Point behind this story? He's probably the best known player in football, in a Yankee and FM sense, but that didn't stop me buying him when he came recommended as a 26y/o reserve player.
