Well, we don't give tips, we don't give player names, so in that aspect we won't help you.

Any thing you want to know about the rules and ethos of LLM, or about league rules, etc., just ask!

We also like to start in the very basement league of whatever country we're in: so Conference North/South in England.

In this forum, we like to play the game in a particular way to try and make it as authentic as we can. The rules thread will let you know how we do things here.

If it's tips and advice you're after, you'd be better off in Tactics and Training or Good Players' Guide: because we don't offer tips in here.

If you do decide you like the ideas that have been constructed over time to define the way of LLM, then welcome!

There is an excellent sticky thread at the top of the forum for you to read and absorb.

The only advice I would give you is to read that and soak up the general approach to LLM by reading some of the longer threads on previous pages.

Fat bloke. The biggest difference between the Conference and Premier League is the amount of money available to you and the quality of players (and staff) that you can attract. Otherwise the basic rule is the same, try to outscore your opponent in every game. Conference is fine for your first LLM excursion.

But apart from the money. the players, the stadium, the state of the pitches, the crowds, the staff, the club reputation, the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
