I knew a Scotsman, he accidentally dropped a 10p coin from the top of Scott Monument.

He raced down the stairs and it hit him on the top of the head

I've learnt a couple of languages, and in all of them, it was

1.) Nom
2.) Gen
3.) Dat
4.) Acc

so, in Latin - no wonder - Voc and Abl were given 5.) and 6.).

I would say that Latin was most widely spoken. Like English (or some sort of) these days. However, whilst being the most spoken and recognized language doesn't mean it is the oldest. I would say Chinese leads by far.

I meant before the languages cosmo was refering to (one of which I'm guessing was German).

Also I'm not sure what you meant by "web chatroom".
