So if AI clubs are making offers highers than the min fee release clause, then that means they don't know about the clause, which means they haven't scouted the player.

Maybe not, Adam but it's certainly a "tradition" these days.
Here are the actual rules ! but someone (I think Norwich) set a precedent in a playoff a few years ago.

Interestingly, that article also mentions that promoted teams can expect to gain around £10m from inflated sponsorship, which never ever ever happens in FM. In fact, I don't think even the biggest clubs in the world in FM get that much a year!!

OK, so it seems the playoff gate money is accurate.
But now I have another rant.
Have started the new season, Billericay's first ever in the Football League. A 2-2 draw at Walsall and a 2-0 win at Hereford United is a very pleasing start.
We play Port Vale at home in our third game, hence the town's first ever home Football League match.
It's on a Saturday, 3pm so the regular English kick off time.
364 showed up.
Our average league attendance last season was around 1600
and again.

Thats just happened to me too Nobby, i'd just been promoted from L2 with an average attendence of just over 5000, first home game of the season in L1 i get an attendence of 3200, which was less than i normaly got in the EC! Glory hunting bastards!
