It's great reading your post about a FA Trophy match. Wait until you get into a real promotion / relegation battle. Amazing fun. It reminds me why I got addicted to the FM series. And rest assured that your enjoyment will probably last for many seasons. Assuming you do well and get promoted, it's still a long, long climb. And even if you do get there, you have that wholesome satisfaction that you but that damn team together piece by piece.

Heck, even though I'm a hockey fan at heart, I could never play EHM. No promotion / relegation in hockey.

Best thing about this game is not getting fired from my present team. Ive been fired twice so far, and looked like getting the ass again but the boys recovered and saved my butt. Ive played Llama type rules for many years but never saw the LLM boards till recently.They gave me new guide lines for scouting that are much more realistic than what I was doing previous.Im now on my 3rd or 4th version of FM love this game when youve got a crap team and turn them into something.Now back to Tigre-Argentina.
