don't hang your head in shame, wewak. It's hard nowadays not to hate the US, and it's even harder to keep facts and propaganda separate. I also guess, the Internet really helps advancing and promoting the "bash everything" mentality.

It's from my own knowledge I guess, which was researched at some point , and besides nothing wrong with a drunken bar discussion, look at the OTT
