when a team makes an offer always try and put a 20% sell on clause in the deal (this amount seems to be low enough to not scare teams off but high enough to give you a nice fee if he is sold on again)
secondly, if you want to increase the price of the offer, always put the extra fee on the 24 month option
i.e. add extra money via monthly installments
the buying team are a lot more willing to pay more if the fee is over months

Any tips for maximising the transfer fees when selling players? Post #3
When Hudds says 'a lot more willing', he means just that. They bend over backwards if you use the 'over 24 months' option. It's free rein to take the absolute Michael.

What they said about spreading the payments over months.
Also:
If you have two or more clubs bidding for a player, ignore one bid, and negotiate all others to varying amounts upward.
Some will accept, some won't.
If all reject, tough luck, acept the one you were ignoring.
Otherwise, ignore the highest bid and reject all other offers (including the one you were saving) and offer to clubs at a price slightly higher than the highest offer you've recieved.
Then just repeat until one ludicrusly high offer remains.
Bidding wars: love 'em.

Indeed. I got £1.2m for a right back while I was managing AFC Telford in BSP! It set me up for years!
